Stats Advisory Service

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics provides a statistical advisory service for all OU researchers – both PhD/MPhil students and staff. Our aim is to advise on the quantitative aspects of research problems in a wide variety of fields. The Statistical Advisory Service has two components, for postgraduate students there are 'drop-in' sessions, for staff the service is operated by appointment.

Postgraduate Students Drop-in Sessions (Alan Turing Building):

Tuesday: 13:00 – 15:00 in room 226AT with Álvaro Faria
Thursday: 10.30 – 12:20 in room 204AT with Paul Garthwaite

Those sessions may vary on occasion so please contact us beforehand if you can.
