The Statistics Group welcomes applications from anyone wishing to pursue full–time or part–time study leading to a PhD in Statistics. A list of the areas of research that would be considered by the group, together with more general information about postgraduate study with the Open University and an application form are available at http://www.open.ac.uk/research/research-degrees/.
Some specific projects currently available are detailed at http://Statistics.open.ac.uk/current-PhD-projects.html. Studentships open to full-time applicants of any nationality are sometimes available.
