About us

There are 3 of us here in the Department of Statistics at the Open University working on the Self controlled case series method: Paddy Farrington, retired emeritus professor, who originally developed the method for vaccine safety studies, Heather Whitaker, senior lecturer and Yonas Weldesselassie, postdoctoral researcher. In the past 2 research fellows, Patrick Musonda and Mounia Hocine, have worked here with us.

The SAS page and programs were provided by Bart Spiessens from GlaxoSmithKline Biologicals in Belgium, with updates from Francois Haguinet also from GSK.
